Year 3

In Maple class, the children have been enjoying creating some lovely artwork from nature.

When learning how to read scales in maths, the children creatively and accurately used paper plates to show clock intervals.

In English, the pupils produced brilliant collaborative pieces of writing to retell the Mini Rabbit Not Lost Story.

In Hazel class, the children created sets of 3-digit numbers in Maths, and ordered them from smallest to largest. They were very creative in deciding how to set out their lists!

In RE, the children created a role play freeze-frame to depict the Genesis Creation Story.

Year 4

Year 4 have been learning how to be persuasive, inspired by the book The King Who Banned the Dark by Emily Haworth-Booth.  This week we had a debate in the hall.  Pine class were persuading Oak that the dark should be banned and Oak class were persuading Pine that the dark should not be banned!  All the children were very persuasive, using excellent vocabulary and some fascinating facts to support their argument!

It was a very close debate and resulted in a draw.  We all had so much fun that we are already planning our next debate!
