Hazel Class
In Art, Hazel Class had lots of fun creating their Egyptian style self portraits using oil pastels.
In English, the children spoke clearly, loudly and persuasively when delivering their persuasive speeches to Maple Class.
Maple Class
In Design and Technology, Maple Class have designed and constructed magnificent castles, making 3D shapes using nets and adorning with decorative facades.
In Art we created Egyptian style papyrus paper by using tea bags as brushes to create an antique, brownish effect.
Oak Class
Oak Class had a great time writing their own raps in music this week, using rhythmic body percussion to help them stay in time!
Pine Class
We have loved creating our new reading area in Pine - we have new comfy beanbags and a fabulous arch, which make it such a cosy place to read!
In Geography we have been using super map skills. We researched the coutries the food we eat comes from, located them in an Atlas and even calculated the distance the food travels to reach us using a scale bar.
