Hello, I am Ms Roper and I teach the year 5 children in Poplar Class.

I am also the music teacher in school. My favourite thing about teaching is helping children to surprise themselves with what they learn. Also, I love celebrating with children when they achieve something new for the first time. My favourite subjects to teach are music, science and geography because I enjoyed them so much when I was at school myself. In addition to this, I am passionate about environmental issues and enjoy leading the Eco council in school-based projects. This year I am really looking forward to leading the singing club and the top recorder group along with enabling children to prepare and lead their own liturgies in class.
