The Early Years Foundation Stage team have been working hard to complete the Hertfordshire Quality Standards Award for outstanding practice in the early years. After the submission of four modules looking at all areas of their practice and an inspection style visit at the end of January 2014, St Joseph’s Early Years were awarded the HQS Mark.

The inspection team commented on the commitment the staff have to offering the best possible start to the children in our care.  Receiving this award has been a combination of hard work over the past two years.

A huge congratulations should go to all the staff past and present who have worked in Early Years.

A big part of the award is about reflecting on practice and the team will continue to do this to continue to offer the best start to school for all the children who are part of the family of St Josephs.
